14 Days Uganda & Rwanda Classic Safari
ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and be welcomed by our company
representative. Dinner and overnight at Cassia lodge.
Day 2: Have breakfast, then transfer to Fort Portal getting lunch enroute. Dinner &
overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in the morning & a walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Dinner & overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP for a game drive en route. In the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Overnight at Kyambura game lodge.
Day 5: Chimp trekking in morning Kyambura & Maramagambo Forest walk in the evening. Overnight at Kyambura game lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi via Ishasha for viewing tree-climbing lions. Overnight at Arcadia Cottages.
Day 7: Boat trip on Lake Bunyonyi up to the Islands. Later cross the boarder to Ruhengeri near Volcanoes National Park. Overnight at Hotel La plame.
Day 8: Morning breakfast will be followed by another adventurous hike to Dian fossey grave yard, nestled between the beautiful peaks of Mt. Vishoke and Karisimbi, return for lunch and enjoy a nature walk to the beautiful twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Overnight at Hotel La plame.
Day 9: Gorilla Tracking Rwanda, all meals and overnight at Hotel La plame.
Day 10: This is a day for golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes National Park. This is another rare and critically endangered species of primates in Africa. Return for lunch and drive to Kigali, Rwanda’s capital (2hrs). Overnight at Manor hotel - Kigali
Day 11: Kigali city tour: Visit genocide memorial sites like Gisozi, local art and craft shops, all meals and overnight at Manor hotel - kigali.
Day 12: After breakfast, transfer to Uganda through Katuna boarder, late lunch and overnight at Arcardia cottages - Mburo.
Day 13: Morning game drive and afternoon boat ride on lake Mburo, later drive back to Kampala with enroute stop at the equator for photographs. Overnight at Ngamba island tented camp.
Day 14: After breakfast enjoy a forest walk and then return to the mainland where you will meet our guide to take you to Entebbe for your scheduled flight / overnight in Entebbe.
