5 Day Gorillas in the Virunga's & Bwindi parks

Day 1: Be welcomed and met by our guide then transfer to Kigali. After lunch, depart for PNV at 2pm. The journey north goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda's landscape, gradually climbing to the base of the awesome Virunga volcanoes, sometimes with as many as five peaks visible. Dinner & overnight at Virunga lodge / Mountain Gorilla view Lodge.

Day 2:  Go gorilla tracking in Park National des Volcano tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virungas is a magical experience. You can get to the gorillas, spend an hour with them, and be back at the base in time for a late lunch!  Dinner and overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge / Mountain Gorilla view Lodge.

Day 3: In the morning relax & walk around the Lodge then later visit the golden monkeys or trek to Dian Fossey's grave. After lunch transfer to Uganda crossing the border.  Dinner and overnight in Kisoro traveler’s hotel.

 Day 4:  In the morning after briefing, go gorilla tracking again, this time in Mgahinga/Nkuringo or climb a volcano, or go for a nature walk, or visit the golden monkeys in Mgahinga. Dinner and overnight at Sliver back lodge.

Day 5:  In the morning after breakfast you can take a leisurely walk / visit the Batwa (pygmies) people as you   enjoy their cultural dance and how they live then later transfer back to Kigali for your scheduled flight.
