Gorillas in Bwindi Forest live in thick tropical forest and tracking is more challenging through steep and slippery jungle grounds before encountering the gorillas camouflaged in vegetation. The trek takes 2-8 hours depending on their movement.

Longer gorilla safaris in Uganda

Trekking gorillas takes 1 to 8 hours depending on their movement. Sight & stay with these Giant Apes is 1 hour maximum for photographing & Observation. The trek is strenuous and challenging but the thrill of encountering these giant apes is worth the effort.
